Beginner Pottery Wheel Class @ Kari’s Create & Paint Studio

Never thrown pottery before?  No big deal, we are going to teach you this class is for EVERYONE Maybe you had a clay class in high school, or maybe you have always wanted to do this, but you did not know where to start? This is the place for you, we offer a welcoming and learning environment for anyone and everyone!

This is an introductory 2 hour class that will give you the chance at a potter’s wheel, while our instructor guides you through the process to make your very own unique piece. We will teach you the basic techniques of centering and building blocks of creating a wheel thrown piece. Come ready to get a little dirty and have a good time, we like to laugh and have a fun here!

Ticket includes1 project (additional pieces can be purchased for $20). We will fire the pieces of your choice, and they will be ready for pickup in about 3-4 weeks (we text as soon as they are ready). You get to decide between coming back to paint your pieces or you can choose between black or white glaze on your piece (both free of charge).
